Flying Pony Cafe.

Mixed-Use Coffee Shop, Art Gallery, and Residence in Little India

The Flying Pony is a mixed-use cafe, gallery, studio, and residence for artist Andrew Horne. The renovation and addition of the historic building fuses the artist’s life and work with the street life of Little India.

The cafe fronting Gerrard Street is open and welcoming to lovers of coffee, literature, and art. As one moves deeper into the building, they progress through and up a hierarchy of spaces starting with a private gallery and group room, through the residence, and into the studio.

From the Client

We have used Paul & his team twice, once for a commercial project and again last year for a major home renovation. Both times the team has delivered creativity and guided us through professionally and calmly in the moments of high stress that are inevitable with two major building projects.
